Lieve van Meegen is a visual artist for whom life and art are inextricably linked. Her practice moves between painting and performance, originating from encounter and collaboration. In her work, she explores where the intimate and the collective intersect, and how bodies, thoughts, and environments are interwoven. Her work is partly influenced by ideas from hydrofeminism, in which bodies are viewed as porous and constantly in relation to their surroundings.
She graduated from Academie Minerva in 2021 and has worked as an artist-in-residence at The Fine Art Collective in London, among other places.
