Linhuei Chen (1981) is a Taiwanese-Dutch artist based in Rotterdam. In her practice, she explores migration, changes in the landscape, and the ways in which cultures evolve and blend together. Working with painting, participatory projects, and field-based research, she brings together personal migration experiences with ecological knowledge, cultural memories, and ideas about future ways of living together. Linhuei studied Fine Art at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague (KABK) and also holds backgrounds in engineering and law. Her work is included in the collections of Fenix, the LAM Museum, and the Taiwanese Ministry of Culture.
