Roman Tkachenko

Roman Tkachenko (1996, Rostov-on-Don) is a multidisciplinary artist and researcher from Amsterdam. His work revolves around addressing the social and political precarities and vulnerabilities embedded in the built environment, and the communities negotiating them. His practice is context-specific and unfolds through a variety of media – always in dialogue with the local context. He holds a BA in Architectural Design from the Gerrit Rietveld Academie (2018) and an MA in Interior Architecture from the Studio for Immediate Spaces at the Sandberg Instituut (2020).
