Art Market #5

Drumroll, please… We’re back with a brand-new Art Market! This fifth edition is a little different than what you’re used to: the Art Market is slightly smaller in scale, but it will be on display in our exhibition space for a longer period of time. This gives you even more time to admire—and treat yourself or someone else to—the loveliest prints, jewelry, and so much more.

We’ve invited four artists for this edition, each with their own unique (and, above all, incredibly cool) style, so there’s bound to be something that catches everyone’s eye. Read more about the artists below and be sure to drop by and say hi!

About the artists

Diana Ferro

Diana Ferro (Rome, 1994) is an artist based in Groningen.

She plays with materials, site-specific installations, painting, photography, poetry, self-printed books, collaborative projects, and workshops, often transforming leftovers discarded by everyday processes. Her background in architecture (MArch) and painting (MA) draws her into curiously wandering and wondering, looking closely at the relation between landscape, humans, and tools, trying to depict “irrelevant” details and re-meaning them in a broader social context, often crossing fields.

Jeanne Lai

Jeanne Lai is an artist working across painting, photography, and jewelry. As a collector of nature and the street, she transforms unique found elements into wearable jewelry in silver, exploring a distinctive aesthetic in everyday adornment.

Diana Dumitrascu

Diana Dumitrascu is a Romanian fine arts student at Minerva Art Academy in Groningen. She is taking a nostalgic, unconventional approach to memory, home, belonging, freedom, and womanhood through thermal and digital photography, collage, and poetry. She is looking for organic, often abstract and symbolic forms in all the real, unposed moments. Her inspiration comes from the collective memory of her family and the journey of finding where her place is, but, most of all, from all the people she met along the way.

Reynaert Vosveld
